Botanical illustration class

A private class offered for SWARM only! Botanical illustration is a blend of art and science. Take a close look at a flower’s inner workings through microscopes and magnifying glasses before diving into a drawing experience from a live specimen. Instructor Lori Ann Levy-Holm will guide you in fundamental observations through measuring techniques, then teach you how to begin a botanical drawing. Following the class, spend the afternoon wandering the Denver Botanic Gardens with your newfound knowledge.
