Hike with a geologist in Boulder CO

Join University of Colorado geologist Lon Abbott on a three-hour downhill hike from the top of Flagstaff Mountain to Chautaqua Park in Boulder. He'll describe the stunning geology of the region along the way. This will be a more challenging hike than our August option in Golden; the terrain is uneven and rocky and you'll need good hiking fitness. Exact logistics will be shared with registrants closer to the time. Abbott is co-author, with Terri Cook, of "Geology Underfoot Along Colorado's Front Range."
